john listened to the angel's scream earkly in the morning of judgement day / and all the heavens burst open / flooded with light brighter than a thousand suns
...
now, you gave me a title for my next work: cry of the angels

I keep seeing a seated, thrashing figure in the center, which is kind of a chilling accompaniment to the man gazing outside . . .

Yes the contorted figure in the front is rather disturbing and represents the suffering of young people in Irish schools and the figure at the door, who is actually me, represents the fact that one can look back on those times and fortunately has an escape.

An excellent treatment of balance from the dark to the light. The huddled image sitting in the foreground is intriguing. Is the person at the door leaving, or welcoming another into the darkness??? The arch at the entrance really does convey a angelic sort of feel. I like this, just not sure why. Maybe I it's just my closet angel obsessiveness... The title, music, and wiki article on child abuse appear to come from a depth only you could explain. Well done...

Leaving behind the darkness now its time to bathe in the light, maybe this is a dream or a metaphor for death. I sense a leaving behind of some ephemeral guilt created from pain or deception. Alas I digress Excellent thought provoking work my friend .The music is eerie yet liberating in a strange way. :shamrock:
